Photography is such a seamless part of me. I find myself thinking in snapshots, almost as if viewing life through a frame. The camera is an additional appendage which allows me to record the little things in life.
Growing up, I mostly took pictures of things and places…a trail in the woods, a snowy path, my dog, a beautiful flower. In high school, and later in college and law school, I was the one of my friends who always had the camera, recording our days.
Fast forward the years, and I’m still taking photos. The camera is better; the eye more trained. My four very active children provide lots of shooting practice. Add in family, friends, neighbors, friends of friends, etc… and my favorite pastime has become something to share.
It is in the photos that the story unfolds.
A history is written.
